i have to pick one of these books to read over the summer as my english summer reading assignment. i am not sure which one to read.

Ender's game or The Locket?
I have never read The Locket but have read Ender's Game. I think it is a great book and I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose this one. It is truly an unique book.

Reply:Ender's Game is a sci-fi classic. Until reading this book, I was unable to get through a sci-fi novel. It is difficult to dislike it. Do research on the books online, and pick the one that has a theme that interests you more.
Reply:i read ender's shadow and it was the best book i've ever read by far and I hate books. I had to read it for an assignment a couple years ago. I think ender's game is a sequel to that so I would definately go with ender's game. It's probably very long but you will get so lost in it you'll forget the pages and its worth it.
Reply:Well...I've never read The Locket, but I have read Ender's Game and loved it. It's about a young boy who has to lead the world into a war with these aliens who attacked Earth 40 years before, but he actually does not like getting into conflicts. He, as well as his older brother and sister, is a genius. But only he was chosen to be the leader, which his brother resents. Anyway, it's interesting. The boy was only 6 in the beginning and he's trained with other young boys to be part of this war, which adds to the interest. But, I don't know much about The Locket, sorry.
