Is the book Troy good?

Ok so i've gotten to the point were i have to read Troy for summer reading and i read the first page and hated it , but also did'nt understand what the hell was going on, so i just want to know if this book is good or bad , if it helps your answer i don't like to read at all.

I had to read the Troy book for english. My teacher made someone pick it out for me because i was taking too much time picking a noval. =S





Haha, i felt like that too! The names were hard to prononce and hard to remember! But perserver. Try remembering the names. (Use nick names according to their character - it helps)





Once you read further, it'd make sense.





And yes, it is a very good book.
Is the book Troy good?
Is it the one by Adele Geras? I loved that book, I thought it was really great, but then I am a big fan of historical fiction and any books about Troy. I can't remember exactly what the first page was, but I find often with books you don't understand the first page and then they might backtrack a bit or otherwise explain what's happening.


Anyway, perservere! I am sure you will like it, and if you don't like it well I am sure you will at least understand it anyway.
