Reply:It's mostly poetry but try the author Ellen Hopkins. They're long and one of the best books I've ever read.
Series wise, try Maximum Ride or even the Twilight books. Those are long and have sequals and junk. Not sure of your age or the genre you like but I like those books..
Reply:Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's about a girl named Bella who moves to Forks, Washington and runs into a group of vampires. VERY VERY good! I REALLY think you should give it a chance because I'm not into vampire stuff, but it was AMAZING!

The Host by Stephenie Meyer. It's about how these things called souls invade Earth, as well as humans. It's based on a soul named Wanda who is placed into Melanie, who refuses to fade away like she's suppose too. It's very interesting and I totally recommend it!

Reply:As someone said earlier, The Lord of the Rings trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. Each book is long, creative, deep, and excellently written.
The Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This series takes place in the early 1900s and is about a stubborn orphan girl who finds a way of fitting into the little town of Avonlea on Prince Edward Island. As the series progresses, the main character (Anne) grows up, marries, etc...I don't know that each book is over 400 pages, but each separate book is long, and the whole series has 8 books, so it should keep you busy.
Books by Dean Koontz. I would highly suggest you read his book called Watchers. It's almost 500 pages in length, and it has an excellent plot, excellent suspense, and it's very original. You can look into his numerous other books, as welll. His books are often long and in-depth, with lots of excellent suspense and creativity.
And for a classic, I would suggest Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift. It is very creative and has a good look at human nature. Very entertaining book...
Best wishes!

I enjoyed reading the "Clan of the Cave Bear" and the entire series by Jean M. Auel. You might like it if you want to experience life during prehistoric times. The story's protagonist is a young woman.
