In the academy of young superheroes it's not unusual to see people walk through walls, change colors with their emotions, or even levitate their school books behind them, but little Timmy Tuba has a most unusual talent. He farts flames. This unique "gift" makes owning multiple pairs of pants a necessity, and slipping a few Silent Sallies out in the hall an impossibility. Timmy's fantasy girl, Jenna Bounce, wouldn't know he existed if it hadn't been for an embarrassing episode that ended with her mountainous sweater burning clean off her body. Timmy toots when he's nervous or excited, and he's nervous and excited a lot. So he has to cork it to avoid the shame.
One spring semester just before class the Ice Prince snatched Jenna Bounce and took her to his Ice Fortress. And Timmy Tuba that he was the only man qualified for the rescue mission!
I'm pretty sure it's got best seller written all over it, what do you guys think? How should I market it?
Cork It: The Tale of a Misfit Superhero?
That sounds adorable! You should maybe market it as a tween book (between child and teenager). I'm sure the third-through-sixth graders would bananas over it! And really, I'm sixteen, and I want a peek! :]
Cork It: The Tale of a Misfit Superhero?
Market it to all members of school bands, the used-to-be's and the present-times... even the futures.
Also suggest you market this as Young Adult, The Vet, and get libidinous and hormonal as you may want.
What else can you do with a Superhero like Tommy Tuba?
Let him play, mister--
Bwaaaahhh, and a one, two, three...
Reply:try and get it published by a childrens book company and aim for children between 3rd and 6th grade.
