For ladies who have read this book. "catch him and keep him"?

by christian carter.

what do you think of it? issit really good and insightful? or do you get the feeling that the author's saying, if things don't work out, its usually the fault of us girls? (which i think rather unfair cause im sure guys make the mistakes as well)

just read a synopsis of it and am planning to get it. just would like your views on it. thanks!

Yes, read it and it is insightful, but you must read it over and over and over. It wasn't "really" good, no, but it was helpful in certain area's of my own life.

I haven't read it, but what I have found with all these self-help books is that all of them work for some women, and not for others. Some find that using their methods work, and others find that they don't. They all have their supporters and their detractors. If you try this one and it doesn't work for you, there are plenty of others.

I have noticed that most self-help books do put the onus on the woman to make a relationship work (there seem to be very few self-help books addressed to men).

if you read the book and it suggests things that you think you can do quite happily, then by all means try it. However, remember that whatever you do do, you will have to keep on doing it if you are going to 'keep' him, according to the philosophy of the book. So don't do anything that you think you can't live with. it's not worth 'catching' a man if the only way you can do it is by behaving in a way that seems artificial or uncomfortable to you.
