The name Sam?

When you think of the name "Sam" for a teenage guy, what do you picture him looking like?
The name Sam?
I don't think you should.....stereotype? names to personalities, but in a book, probably....cheerful, funny, out- going.

5'4", blonde hair and blue eyes. Ordinary but not popular. Friends are backstabbing and cannot be trusted.

I picture a "Sam" as relatively tall depending on age maybe 5'5 at younger teen years and near the end at 6'0 or so. Dark hair, brown eyes, not overweight, but stocky.
Reply:kind of the average joe, could be cool or nerdy, but heroric when needed.

If it helps you at all - he's tall, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, normal weight, some muscle definition, pretty average looking overall (not in a bad way, though). Personality: outgoing; nice; sarcastic at times; likes pretty much every sport out there; has many friends and makes friends easily (friendly but not necessarily popular); usually optimistic, but some rotten stuff has happened to him, so he has his occasional moments of hopelessness.
