Has anybody ever read books written by Barbara Johnson?

They call her the geranium lady? I have her book, "Splashes odf joy in the cesspools of life." lol- I understand that she really had some heinous trials and tribulations in her life shortly before she wrote all her humorous books, especially when her son became a homosexual.
