I loved the romance mixed equally with the twilight series...what else is out there? what should i read next!

Try the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray. It's not as filled with romance, but the trilogy is REALLY good, and there definitely is romance in it. Most of the romance plays out in the 3rd book, but I loved the series because it's like Twilight - the romance isn't exactly vivid or too over-the-top - it's chaste, but still powerful. :)





The Gemma Doyle trilogy appealed to me because like Twilight and HP, it has mythical/magical elements in it. :D

Reply:Jinx by Meg Cabot. If you liked Twilight, then you'll like this book. It's about a girl who has bad luck all the time so she moves in with her aunt and uncle. Her cousin is into witchcraft and I don't want to spoil the rest, but it fairly good.





The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. I've only read the first two, but they are VERY good. It's about a girl named Suze who moves to California from New York because her mother just remarried. Oh, and Suze can see ghosts...

4. the midnighters - i haven't read it, but i heard it's amazing


5. peeps - about vampires! but the main character calls them peeps


6. unwind - about the future as well, and how "unwinding" replaces abortions


7. a great and terrible beauty series - victorian age girls kick butt and do magic :)


8. the pendragon series - awesome series!!! some say it's better than harry potter. it's about a boy who "flumes" to other worlds in the universe to defeat a really evil guy bent on taking over all of "hala"


9. and of course THE HOST - stephanie meyer's new book! (not associated with the twilight series)





hehe im a harry potter nerd as well, and these series kept me busy while i was waiting for the new HP books to come out o.O
