Post-Potter Depression?

can someone help me, its been a year since i finished the Harry Potter Series and I feel empty
Post-Potter Depression?
Try something a little more sophisticated. Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles. They are great. Or James Patterson's Odd Thomas books. A year is a long time to mourn the end of a book series when there are so many great books out there. Pax-C
Post-Potter Depression?
me too. :(

Try these books, they aren't done yet and they are amazing

Maximum Ride

Pendragon

Twilight

The Indiana Jones books are good

And on the 12th we get to read a Harry Potter sort of prequel thing by JK rowling so check Mugglenet.com for that.

You're not alone
Reply:i felt the same way....just watch the movies and try to fan-mail jk rowling for another book!

I TRIED!
Reply:Re-read them! Haha I felt empty too, but then I found the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I'm not sure if you'll like those though...

You could try some of these books:

-Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke

-Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

-Golden Compass series

-Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom

-perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Reply:If you haven't already, put your Potter love to use on Potter-centered sites such as http://www.mugglenet.com and http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org/ ... join their forums, comment on their blogs or even contact them to see if there's a way you can help out on their site.

Next, there are still 2 movies to look forward to!!

Finally, consider some other books. There are plenty out there. Here's a few:

- His Dark Materials series by Phillip Pullman

- Lord of the Rings and all of Tolkien's other books

- Look for anything by Neil Gaiman, his works are very interesting

- Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud

- Dark is Rising Series by Susan Cooper

- Inheritance Trilogy by Christopher Paolini

- Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer (but I'm not sure if guys like those books, lol)

- Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels are very fun

- Jonathan Strange %26amp; Mr. Norrel, by Susannah Clarke

- The Sparrow, by Mary Doria Russel
Reply:Try to get your mind on another magical series

Go get a copy of the first book in the series Septimus Heap by Angie Sage.

Septimus Heap: Magyk is the first book.
