Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the fourth novel in the Harry Potter series written by J. K. Rowling. Published on 8 July 2000, the release of this book was surrounded by more hype than any other book in recent times[citation needed]鈥攐utdone only by its successors, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The book attracted additional attention because of a pre-publication warning from J. K. Rowling that one of the characters would be murdered in the book.


The novel won a Hugo Award in 2000. The book was made into a film, which was released worldwide on 18 November 2005.

number 3 was my favourite, but its a bit like picking your favourite offspring haha
Reply:Book 4 - The Goblet of Fire - I love the competitions plus it was exciting to read (like all the other Harry Potter books) and it was fun to cheer for Harry.
Reply:My fave one would be "the Goblet Of Fire" coz I like the prom scene and when harry and ron start noticing girls :P
